Still IntimacyFabric touched softly by hand. Fingertips tilting a glass. A figure from behind, holding a signpost in blue mist. And fragments of life arranged on a notebook page. Intimacy does not necessarily require dramatic moments. Rather, it dwells in quietness. Days that repeat themselves, the temperature of memories shared with someone, the texture of time spent alone. Strata of feeling never proclaimed loudly, yet certainly present. "Still Intimacy" explores such quiet intimacy. Making that leaves traces of the hand, dialogue with materials, things touched repeatedly in daily life. In time held still, the maker's presence, their care, their time emerges. As if measuring the temperature of a borderline, as if walking with a signpost in hand, the works guide us toward—the heart of an intimacy that doesn't move, yet breathes deeply.
