Inner ClimateThis edition of Curator’s Pick marks our first international gallery collaboration, welcoming Galerie MO11 — a leading force in the Cannes art scene. Founded by the Barabani brothers and directed by Esperanza Belda, MO11 is known for a program that brings the work of masters such as Picasso and Matisse into conversation with emerging and mid-career artists, reframing canonical figures through a contemporary lens.
The theme this time is Inner Climate. We introduce the work of Anaïs Vindel, whose paintings emerge from the interplay of ink and acrylic, producing color that seems almost to tremble. In her abstractions, nature and emotion dissolve into one another, surfacing as waves of chromatic intensity.
According to Artprice’s 2025 report, the majority of contemporary art transactions already take place below the $5,000 mark — and with emerging artists, entry points can be even more accessible. As an artist’s profile grows through institutional recognition and museum acquisitions, collectors find themselves positioned to appreciate both the market trajectory and the art-historical significance of their holdings. As the early collectors of Impressionism eventually demonstrated, acquiring work with foresight has historically yielded returns both cultural and financial.
As a compelling entry point into thoughtful collecting, emerging artists like Anaïs are drawing considerable attention.
